Researching Human Behaviour

One issue that must be considered when attempting to understand the behaviour of tourists is that the researchers themselves are part of the society they are investigating. This makes a totally impartial and unbiased research project more difficult but not impossible to design and conduct. In an attempt to provide a scientific analysis, there are a number of research methods that could be employed. These may embrace secondary and primary research including observation, surveys, cross-sectional studies, case studies, longitudinal studies, cross cultural-studies or even in some cases experiments.
